Following her divorce from Rudolph Valentino, Natacha Rambova found solace in the company of psychic and trance medium George Wehner. When Valentino died, Wehner was with Rambova in France visiting the Hudnut chateau. He infamously foretold Valentino's death in a seance which was attended by Natacha Rambova, her mother, step father and aunt. His psychic prediction was written about for years. Wehner was a fascinating character in the story and in his autobiography, A Curious Life, he related the events at the chateau when Valentino died. Most importantly he revealed Natacha's genuine, emotional reaction to news of Rudolph's death. His obituary follows:
